We have thought of ideas for how a woman could improve
her offline business, I gave you some, and I am very sure
you thought of some great ideas, too.

Okay, online business. YES!

Online businesses have the same problems to be solved
as an offline business, only with an online business, you can
reach far more than your own locality.

You still have a store front  - Your Web Site

Your Web Site is the First Impression. I do not think I need
to emphasis how important that first impression is to you.
You're clever. You know how fast you can make an assessment
of a person, place or thing on that very first impression.

You still have to have a product - What shall you sell?

When you set yourself up to sell something to create a
business, your first and foremost thought should be, will
I love what I do?

Then you build a theme around what you love to do.
The net is filled with opportunity and affiliate programs.
If you think golf is your niche, then you would find golf
supplies and golf techniques, all of which you can profit
from by sharing valuable information that others are willing
to pay you for.

You still need to accept money - Where are your options for
accepting payments online?

Accepting credit cards on the net is so incredibly easy now.
You can have a membership club, or just sell items, have it
all set up automatically for purchase and sending out a thank
you letter for their getting their purchase without even being
there when it happens.  Imagine that.

You still need to advertise to get people to your store front.
How will you do this?

You need a plan for your business. You need to know how
to reach people so they know you are doing business.
This all comes from studying how to market.

You still need to give great customer support.

Customer support and trust are so very important. You build
your relationships with those you meet, and use their
testimonials to add credibility to your site.  They are happy,
and they tell their friends. It's simple.

You still need leads to follow up on.

This goes with advertising which you will need to learn.
Joining Internet Marketing Clubs are very essential to
your learning how to reach people who would be interested
in your products.  Do not fall for so called LEADS that
you pay for. This is the wrong idea and can lead you to
losing your business on the net before you can get your
feet on the ground.

And, you need to follow up on your own customers.

Once you have your customers, you need to follow up on
them, see how they like what they have purchased, and
establish a relationship with them.  You can then set up
an automatic letter that will offer them a discount on a product
that they might like from you.

It sounds like a lot to do, but fortunately a lot of your work,
once you have your site set up goes automatic.

It is very smart that once your business is set up that you
actually have real business cards to pass out.  Just because
we have our business on the web, does not mean that we
don't promote offline, too.  Every contact that you meet,
whether it be in the local spa, grocery store, bridge club,
library or just strolling in the park are potential customers
for your business.  Be prepared!

When you are ready to have a business on the net, just
remember, that everything you learn and do, will be a great
asset to you. Some people get going very fast, and others
do their trial and error.  The main thing is to believe you
can succeed.  Belief in yourself is very important.  You can
do this provided you apply yourself and get started.

There is a quote that comes to my mind written by
Napoleon Hill.

"Do not wait; the time will never be 'just right.'
Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you
may have at your command, and better tools will be found
as you go along."
